Lunar Flare is a SFW for-profit fanzine and tarot deck dedicated to the stories of the characters Dabi and Hawks from My Hero Academia, by Kohei Horikoshi, and the relationship between the pair.The zine aims to produce a full tarot deck with art of the pair reflecting the card’s meaning. In addition to the deck, there will be a guidebook that also features fanfiction, and options for bundles to purchase physical merchandise.The zine will be canon compliant and contain both platonic and romantic interpretations of DabiHawks, with a strong focus on their roles as one another’s narrative foils.

^{WHAT IS THIS ZINE ABOUT?}Lunar Flare is a zine dedicated to the characters Dabi and Hawks from My Hero Academia, and the relationship/parallels between the pair of them. The zine includes a full tarot deck with art of the pair reflecting the card’s meaning. In addition to the deck, there is a guidebook that also features fanfiction, and options for bundles to purchase physical merchandise.━━━━━^{HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT TO A REGULAR FANZINE?}The art portion of Lunar Flare will be made up in the form of a physical tarot deck, or else within a lineup of the cards in the digital PDF. There will not be a separate physical artbook. The guidebook includes both fanfiction and card descriptors to help you understand a card’s meaning. The guidebook will be black and white in A5 format if you purchase physical, as well as part of the digital PDF.━━━━━^{IS THE ZINE FOR PROFIT OR FOR CHARITY?}Lunar Flare is for profit, with all proceeds going towards production and then ensuring our contributors receive the full bundle of all products. If there are any remaining proceeds, they'll be distributed evenly between mods and contributors. Contributors will need a Paypal in order to avail of this.━━━━━^{IS ALL THE CONTENT ROMANTIC?}This zine primarily focuses on the canonical relationship between Dabi and Hawks, and their roles as one another’s narrative foils as well as enemies. In terms of the deck, roughly 80% is not explicitly romantic with many artists choosing to feature symbolic depictions of the parallels between their lives. Most, but not all, of the fanfics are romantic, however the guidebook also includes a section to help you interpret your cards and artist credits. If you enjoy Dabi and Hawks as characters, and are comfortable that some romantic content is featured in the zine, you should still enjoy the zine even if you don’t particularly ship them!━━━━━^{ARE OTHER SHIPS IN THE ZINE?}There are no other ships in the zine, implied or otherwise. Some other MHA characters such as the League are featured in the art and fic, but the zine’s focus is Dabi and Hawks.━━━━━^{WHAT ARE THE CONTENT WARNINGS FOR THIS ZINE?}As this zine is canon compliant, it is PG-13 and features warnings for canon-typical violence and implied child abuse. There is no NSFW or problematic content in the zine.━━━━━^{WHERE WILL THE ZINE BE SOLD?}The zine will be sold via BigCartel.
